چکیده

Long-term observations of synchrotron emission from supernovae (SNe), covering more than a year after the explosion, provide unique opportunity to study poorly-understood evolution massive stars in final millennium their lives via changes mass-loss rate. Here, we present result our long-term monitoring peculiar type IIL SN 2018ivc, using Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA). Following initial decay, it showed unprecedented rebrightening starting at ~ explosion. This is one rare examples showing such emission, and first case millimeter wavelengths. We find be optically-thin regime unlike optically-thick centimeter emission. As such, can robustly reconstruct distribution circumstellar matter (CSM) thus history ~1,000 years. that progenitor 2018ivc had experienced very high rate >~10^{-3} Msun/yr ~1,500 years before which was followed by moderately (>~10^{-4} Msun/yr) up until From this behavior, suggest represents an extreme version binary toward SNe IIb, bridges hydrogen-poor (toward Ib/c, without hydrogen envelope) hydrogen-rich (SNe IIP, with envelope).

Possible binary progenitors for the Type Ib supernova iPTF13bvn

Cao et al. reported a possible progenitor detection for the Type Ib supernovae iPTF13bvn for the first time. We find that the progenitor is in fact brighter than the magnitudes previously reported by approximately 0.7–0.2 mag with a larger error in the bluer filters. We compare our new magnitudes to our large set of binary evolution models and find that many binary models with initial masses in...

Thermal Stability of White Dwarfs Accreting Hydrogen-rich Matter and Progenitors of Type Ia Supernovae

We revisit the properties of white dwarfs accreting hydrogen-rich matter by constructing steady-state models, in which hydrogen shell burning consumes hydrogen at the same rate as the white dwarf accretes it. We obtain such steady-state models for various accretion rates and white dwarf masses. We confirm that these steady models are thermally stable only when the accretion rate is higher than ...

SN2003bg: a broad-lined Type IIb Supernova with Hydrogen

Models for the spectra and the light curve, in the photospheric as well as in the late nebular phase, are used to infer the properties of the very radiobright, broad-lined type IIb Supernova 2003bg. Consistent fits to the light curve and the spectral evolution are obtained with an explosion that ejected ≈ 4M⊙ of material with a kinetic energy of ≈ 5 10 erg. A thin layer of hydrogen, comprising ...

Preparation of Ni-P-CeO2 electrode and study on electrocatalytic properties for hydrogen evolution reaction

In this study ternary Ni-P-CeO2 catalysts were first synthesized by the Co-electrodeposition method on a copper substrate and then characterized by means of microstructural and electrochemical techniques toward a hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Also, for comparison other catalysts such as Ni-CeO2, Ni-P, and Ni were prepared and characterized by the same methods. The microstructure of the inv...
